    Comments:

The Raleigh Misceo IE power assist electric bicycle is great. Even though I have been riding bicycles all my life, the Raleigh is a new experience and a new adventure. The power from the battery enhances my riding ability and experience. I can go farther, faster, and more safely than I otherwise could. Hills and terrain are no longer an obstacle, and I can take routes that I otherwise would have avoided. The bike feels very safe because of the ergonomic design and the power assist system. The torque sensor kicks in to match your effort so that even if you are trying to pedal "too hard" the bike will not let you strain or hurt yourself. Also, if you are going through an intersection, likewise, the power will kick in to help you speed out of harm's way. There is no danger of the bicycle "running away" or going out of control because it only delivers power in response to your effort and pedaling...it does not have a throttle and cannot move on it's own. It feels and rides like a "regular" bike and the ride is smooth and solid. The enhanced power features create a well balanced bike. The motor gives you increased power, so the disc brakes provide matched, smooth stopping. And, all of the components are well integrated with the frame so the technology is seamlessly integrated creating a safe and smooth overall riding experience. For the same, or similar effort that you would use on a conventional bike, you can safely ride around 20-25% farther and faster. Every time I ride it is a new experience and adventure. The limits that were there before either aren't there, or aren't the same. For example, when I ride into a hill I don't have to downshift and slow down. Instead, I can increase the power and speed up! It's also a great way to exercise because I ride more often than I otherwise normally would and I can ride further because I don't tire as quickly. The battery provide plenty of power I never worry about running out of power as each charge lasts a long time. My next target is to start commuting daily with the Raleigh.
